It’s funny how these Beemer cafe racers work so well. Years ago I bought an old police R75/7 with a ginormous Avon fairing that I eventually took off. I regularly thought of making a radical change to it, but somehow it seemed “wrong” to do that to a “copper’s bike” despite the potential I was seeing when I took off the tank etc. I felt it would look daft. So now, 20 years after selling it on to an equally earnest young man I see my error. Bugger.

The tank on this bike catches your eye first and I must say it’s a beauty. For me, though, it’s the seat hump that makes or breaks the bike and happily the guys that built it had the good taste to use a curve that is more or less concentric with the wheel. Nice job. I’m not bitter, no really, I’m not. Not a bit.

All the parts are available from http://www.flatracer.com, including the fairing, tank, tail section, fork brace, mudguards etc, etc.

Where can I get the Fairing ,Tank and Seat ??
And what Mufflers have you used.
