		<description><![CDATA[@ sable ... you might have a point if the bike was intended for long distance touring in the alps. it&#039;s not. three separate u.s. manufacturers make this simplified rear brake set-up with no ill effects. it runs an o-ring chain lightly lubricated with clear chain wax and since i (among many others) rarely use the rear brake at all other than to settle the chassis, i figured in this case form outweighed function.
