We spotted this lovely 1956 Harley FLE Panhead bobber on the Italian blog Motorimessa Ambulante “Il FerroVecchio”, and had to find out more. The trail led us to the workshop of Garage Company on Washington Blvd in LA, where proprietor Yoshinobu Kosaka took the order in October 2007. Matteo’s “Baby Blue” was ready at the end of 2008, and marries a modern replica frame with vintage items from Garage Company’s huge stock of old parts. The Garage Company website is a real eye-opener: check out the mouth-watering gallery of old school customs, from vintage Harleys and Indians to Evel Knievel jump bikes. You’ll also find Michael Schumacher’s ‘California Bobber’, and some much better looking Von Dutch-style machines.

Those guys are really good at what they do, the weirdo rigid triumph cafe/chop is pretty cool. The Harleys are to die for.
