Honda CB750 cafe racer

Honda CB750 cafe racers by Steve "Carpy" Carpenter
One of the biggest characters in the custom motorcycle scene is Steve Carpenter, a dyed-in-the-wool Londoner who inherited his father’s love of café racers. After a stint living in Australia, ‘Carpy’ set up shop in Anaheim, California—and in a few short years has earned himself a reputation as one of the world’s top café racer builders. His speciality is SOHC Hondas, and his bikes are show-stoppers: just check out the creations on his entertainingly-written website. Carpy also makes a tempting range of hard-to-find parts for CBs, including a replica 4-into-1 Yoshi exhaust system that actually works.

Entertaining up until the 5th or 6th one-liner, then just predictable. Dude is dedicated for sure though. The bike pictured was for the drummer from Green Day.

Some of his bikes I like, and some seem way too busy. I like the more minimal cafe racers….
