Why is Sweden so good at custom bikes? Stockholm designer Marcus Carlsson has just revealed the striking Husqvarna V1000 Gran Turismo, his tribute to a 1935 Husqvarna 500cc road racer, complete with original logo on the tank. The bike’s foundation is a Suzuki TL1000S engine, frame and front suspension, with a custom rear subframe and Öhlins shock to accommodate the bespoke exhaust system. MarcusMotoDesign bikes are scheduled to go on sale globally at the end of this year, and we can’t wait.
