The home of one of Europe’s leading Ducati custom shops is not Italy, but Spain. Radical Ducati is based in Madrid, and has carved a niche in contemporary upgrades of Monsters and such ilk. But this latest ‘preparacione’ is a charming departure from the usual. Based on an ancient Ducati 125, the Carallo Sport has been designed to compete in the legendary Motogiro d’Italia. (The Historical Vintage Class is only open to pre-1957 motorcycles of 175 cc or less.) The bike looks lovely: the paintjob, brakes, and that sleek aluminum megaphone exhaust are just perfect. Radical Ducati has created a web page with full details of the build (via Google Translate, for readers who do not hablan español).

I love it all, except for that tank’s shape. It bothers me.
Now to build a 450 version
Looks like the white balance is off. Man what a cool machine!
The image is cross-processed slightly – the original was somewhat flat.
