That Cannonball rally mentioned sounds awesome too... over 40 riders riding 3300miles in 17 days  from coast to coast in the US ON PRE-1916 BIKES...including a 250ccm, one speed, geardriven, clutchless JAP from 1907 that needs to be started by running along side ...even Shinya K. is in there...  Woow.]]></description>

BTW, the header pic shows a genuine Vincent Black Lightning I had the pleasure of road-testing at the Grossglockner Hillclimb in the Austrian Alps last June.  You can read about it here:

Hence the big smile!  Pure adrenalin...I had just finished winding out the beast up a 7-mile twisting road; the nicest Vinnie I&#039;ve ever ridden, sweet and agile and fast.
Oh, and I&#039;d like to give props to my father, who was a professor of History; the influence is clear.]]></description>
