Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Wes Reyneke is Bike EXIF's editor-in-chief and primary road tester. Prior to joining Bike EXIF, he worked as a creative director for a leading digital media agency, before switching his focus to writing and photography.

As Bike EXIF's roving reporter, Wes has traveled to a dozen different countries over the past few years, reporting on motorcycle shows and model launches from major OEMs. He has interviewed the head designers at BMW Motorrad and Harley-Davidson, judged multiple custom bike competitions, and been part of two 'bike build-off' teams.

Wes has also written for international magazines such as Iron & Air and Craftrad, plus Gestalten's definitive custom motorcycle book 'The Ride: Second Gear’. He's a regular contributor to the leading South African site ZA Bikers, and writes the occasional piece of copy for custom motorcycle heavyweights like Blacktrack Motors.

Wes is also a father of three, rides an air-cooled Triumph Bonneville, plays multiple instruments and enjoys fine bourbon...just don't call him a hipster.
