Von Dutch Triumph Tiger

1957 Triumph Tiger 650 custom motorcycle by Von Dutch
A little bit of ‘history’ is always welcome when it comes to vintage motorcycles. And this 1957 pre-unit Triumph has history by the spadeful. It’s a 650cc Tiger T110, rebuilt and painted by Kenny Howard, aka Von Dutch. It’s got a signed Von Dutch gas tank, a timing cover hand-engraved with the owner’s first name, and a custom rear fender. It’s hard to put a price on a motorcycle like this, but former Cycle World editor David Edwards did—$3,350 to be exact, on eBay. [Via Four Aces Cycle Supply.]

I had a 1960 110 back in 1965 , and to me I’m sorry but this looks a mess . i put a “splayed head” and twin carbs plus E3134 cams , took the “skirts” off and made my own rear sets , drag bars and Thuxton silencers set the whole thing off . 70 in first and the and the old “rattlesnake ” did the business . No photos , but …………..thanks for the memories .
