In the pantheon of British motorcycling, the Triton remains the undisputed king of the specials. Born from the smoky garages of the 1950s and 60s, it was the ultimate custom, a marriage of convenience and performance that mated the world’s best-handling chassis to its most charismatic engine. This 1961 example, currently showing 18,650 km, is a textbook execution of that legendary formula, refined for the modern connoisseur.

At the heart of this build is a genuine Norton Slimline Featherbed frame. To ensure the bike handles as intended, the trellis was sandblasted, integrity-checked, and finished in a fresh coat of period-correct black. Power comes courtesy of a Triumph T110 pre-unit motor. Rather than a simple swap, the engine has undergone a comprehensive high-performance overhaul. It has been punched out with new 750cc pistons and cylinders, supported by a reinforced housing featuring larger bearings and a sharper camshaft for a more aggressive power band.
